Over Ten Years of Vectra AI Experience. Vendor-Neutral Advice. Technically Sound Implementation.
Modern attacks use legitimate credentials, move across networks, cloud environments and identity systems, and often remain undetected by traditional security solutions for extended periods. For CISOs and SOC leaders, this raises a critical question: How can genuine attacks be identified and prioritised at an early stage without security teams losing visibility in a flood of individual alerts?
Xatrop has more than ten years of experience with Vectra AI. Our team has supported and delivered numerous projects across a wide range of industries, from healthcare and the public sector to hidden champions, international corporations and Fortune 100 companies.
We deliberately operate independently. Xatrop is not currently an official Vectra AI partner. This independence is essential for engagements that require a neutral assessment. We evaluate the technology not from the perspective of a vendor or sales partner, but based on the organisation’s individual requirements, existing security architecture and actual risk profile.
This does not affect our technical expertise. A significant part of our experience stems from our CEO’s previous role directly with the vendor. In this position, he held technical responsibility for Vectra AI across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, as well as large parts of Central and South-Eastern Europe. This included Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and the Balkan region.
In this role, he led and supported projects from proof of concept through to full implementation. As a result, we not only possess extensive product knowledge but also understand the technical and organisational factors that are critical to a successful deployment.
These include the correct placement of sensors, sufficient network data quality, the integration of identity and cloud signals, and connectivity with existing SIEM, EDR and SOC processes. Equally important is determining whether a planned NDR architecture genuinely fits the organisation, its operating model and its available resources.
The Vectra AI platform uses network, identity and cloud signals to detect suspicious activity, correlate individual events and prioritise them according to risk. Its focus is on identifying genuine attacker activity across the hybrid attack surface.
Among other activities, Vectra AI analyses indicators of credential misuse, privilege escalation, command-and-control communication, lateral movement, suspicious data access and potential data exfiltration. Detected activities are attributed to identities and devices and assessed based on attack progression, speed and urgency.
For investigations, the platform provides connected attack narratives and dynamic attack graphs. These illustrate how an attacker moves across different areas of the environment and which activities are related. This gives analysts the context they need to understand incidents more quickly and respond in a targeted manner.
Xatrop supports organisations with the independent assessment, planning and technical implementation of NDR architectures using Vectra AI. We assist with assessments, architectural decisions, proofs of concept, implementations and the optimisation of existing environments. We openly evaluate whether the technology is suitable for the specific use case and how it can be effectively integrated into the existing security landscape.
With Xatrop, you do not receive a vendor-driven product recommendation. You receive an independent, technically informed assessment from a team that has worked with Vectra AI for more than ten years, successfully delivered numerous complex projects and previously held technical responsibility for the technology at vendor level across multiple European markets.
When it comes to Vectra AI, modern NDR architectures and the detection of complex attacks, we combine deep technical experience with the independence required to make a robust and well-informed decision.
